It's at the Cosun innovation center that we apply our expertise, taking sugar beet and chicory root to create 100% natural ingredients that are all certified, biodegradable, and harmless to the natural environment and human health.
Even in small doses, our ingredients are highly effective in a wide range of formulations, for example as stabilizing, softening, hydrating, bonding, and rinsing agents. Our biobased functional ingredients provide a full-fledged alternative to oil-based materials.

Our heritage
Cosun Biobased Experts was previously a brand belonging to Cosun Beet Company, a subsidiary of Cosun.
Cosun Beet Company was founded as a cooperative by sugar beet farmers, who – more than 100 years ago – united to secure a better price for their crop. Today, Cosun employs almost four thousand people, all of whom are dedicated to providing high-quality products for the food and animal feed industries, the energy sector as well as biobased functional ingredients.
You'll discover that this cooperative mindset still underpins our company to this day. It's simply in our nature.
