QUATIN® is a new cationic biopolymer that enables the deposition of benefit agents, softens, and reduces static on fabrics effectively, while checking all the environmental boxes. It's fast becoming the go-to ingredient for the fabric care industry.

QUATIN® is available as an easy to use liquid with a viscosity close to that of water. This means you can dose it easily and process it while cold, making it the ideal softener for many of your concentrated fabric care products. It remains stable in combination with many other functional ingredients and under a wide range of conditions. Furthermore it is a very suitable alternative to traditional exterquats.

'Better and faster' seems to be the mantra of our times, and this has fueled demand for 2-in-1 laundry detergents. Your customers expect cleaner-than-clean laundry, but also fabrics that are softer and easier to iron. In combination with anionic surfactants QUATIN® forms a coacervate that precipitates on fabrics, softens, and enables the deposition of any associate benefit agents, leaving fabrics softer and easier to iron.
